Another known fact about algae cultivation is that the water used for its growth can be of lowest quality. It can be industrial water or any other processed water. Waste water is also applicable. This means that if this kind of business is well exploited it would solve the energy crisis we have with the current fuel shortage as well as ever rising costs for fuel. The end result would be a much cleaner and environmentally safer way to get natural gas.
